• Dow closes above 35,000 for first time ever

  U.S. stocks rallied across the board with the Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 gaining over 1% each, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed above the 35,000 level for the first time in history. Its fifth 1,000 point milestone of 2021, the most in a single year since 2017. In commodities, oil finished the week at $72.07 per barrel.
