• Stocks end mixed as Dow notches gain

  The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite posted modest losses, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average etched out a small gain helped by Honeywell and United Health. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, in his second day of testimony on Capitol Hill, reiterated that interest rates will remain near zero and that inflation is transitory.
