• Stocks mixed as Nasdaq leads, Apple his record

  U.S. stocks kicked off the trading week on a mixed note with the Nasdaq Composite marching higher, helped by large cap tech names including Apple, which hit a fresh record, as well as Virgin Galactic which jumped 9% following Richard Branson's historic space flight. The Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 were little changed in early trading.
