  • Dow, S&P hit new records, oil slips

    The Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 closed at fresh record highs on Monday ahead of earnings from Walmart and Home Depot due on Tuesday morning. While the Nasdaq Composite fell, Apple bucked the downtrend, closing at a high of $151.12 per share. In commodities, oil slipped to a one-week low, hovering at $67 per barrel level.
