• Nasdaq hits record, S&P nabs 50th record close

  U.S. stocks saw a broad rally with financials and energy stocks pacing the gains giving the S&P 500 its 50th record close. Concerns about rising cases of the delta variant eased after the FDA granted full approval of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine. In commodities, oil topped the $65 per barrel level and gold lifted past $1,803 per ounce level.
