• Nasdaq tops 15,000 for first time, S&P 500 sets new record

  The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq touched new records as the tech-heavy composite closed above the 15,000 level for the first time. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also closed higher now just 258 points below its record peak. In commodities, oil continued its swift rebound nearing the $68 per barrel level.
