• Stocks finish mixed, oil skids

  U.S. stocks swung between losses and gains with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite closing higher, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped. Oil fell to the $63 per barrel level marking six days down days, the longest losing streak in 18-months. Energy stocks were the worst performers in the S&P, while technology names were the best. Microsoft notched another all-time high rising over 2%.
