  • Stocks hold near records as Fed's Jackson Hole Symposium kicks off

    U.S. stocks hovered near record levels as the Federal Reserve kicks off its symposium in Jackson Hole Wyoming. Ahead of Chairman Powell's speech tomorrow, Kansas City Federal Reserve President Esther George shared her assessment of the economy in an interview with FOX Business. "As I watch how the economy is unfolding, I'm less precise about amounts and dates and really more focused on saying sooner rather than later so I think, again with a baseline outlook that suggests we're going to continue to see job gains continue to see strong growth. It suggests that we can begin to make some of those adjustments this year" she noted.
