The gunman who stormed the Capital Gazette newsroom in Maryland in 2018, killing five, was sentenced to five life terms, prosecutors said.

The man, Jarrod Ramos, 41, had pleaded guilty in October 2019 to 23 charges, including five counts of first-degree murder, for the shooting in Annapolis, one of the deadliest attacks on American journalists.
