• Nasdaq scores record, Dow falls 269 points

  U.S. stocks ended mixed with the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 pulling back, while the Nasdaq Composite marched to a fresh record helped in part by Netflix and Apple which scored new record highs. The maker of iPhones and Macs confirmed a 9/14 event which investors largely speculate will be focused on the forthcoming iPhone 13 and new watch enhancements.
