• Nasdaq paces stock gains, Delta dips on fuel warning

  U.S. stocks saw broad gains in early trading as investors digested the start of earnings season and a jump in consumer prices which rose at the fastest annual pace in 13-years. In stocks, Delta Airlines lost ground after warning higher fuel costs could hurt profits. Elsewhere, chip stocks rebounded with Micron and Intel rising.
