• Stocks slip after big jobs miss, oil briefly hits $80

  U.S. stocks slipped on Friday after American employers added 194,000 workers last month missing the 500,000 estimate economists were expecting. Just two of the S&P's 11 sectors logged gains, financials and energy, as oil briefly hit the $80 per barrel level. Utilities and materials led the decliners.
