  • S&P 500, Nasdaq hit records, Cisco dings Dow

    U.S. stocks ended the session mixed as the Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 ticked to new highs on strength in shares of Apple and Microsoft. This as networking equipment maker Cisco kept the Dow Jones Industrial Average in the red with shares falling 5.5%. Elsewhere, salad chain Sweetgreen got a sweet reception in its IPO debut gaining 77%. In commodities, oil closed at $79.01 per barrel.
