• Stocks mixed as Disney drags Dow

  The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite inched higher, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average drifted lower with Disney shares down 8% after weaker-than-expected quarterly results. Newly public Rivian locked in more gains in its second day of trading. In commodities, oil lofted around the $80 per barrel level. The bond market is closed in observance of Veterans Day.
