• Stocks mixed Cisco drags Dow down

  U.S. stocks were mixed in Thursday's early session with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite moving higher, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped with Cisco the biggest loser. Shares of the network giant fell over 8% after slashing its outlook for revenue growth. Elsewhere, Macy's and Kohl's surged, both boosted outlooks as sales improve from the pandemic rut. In commodities, oil traded around the $78 per barrel level.
