'It's a wicked New England storm' Boston covered in snow on Sunday. That's how Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont described the powerful nor'easter that brought blizzards, frigid temperatures, drifting snow and power cuts to the US eastern seaboard on Saturday.
Wind speeds exceeded 80 mph (130 km/h) across eastern Massachusetts and there were dangerous winds and chills elsewhere. Some parts of the state got up to 30 inches of snow. Cities like New York and Philadelphia also got significant dumps of the white stuff.
