• Dow drops 200 points as JPMorgan tanks, Nasdaq, S&P recover

  Shares of JPMorgan fell 6% contributing to much of the 200+ point drop in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, while the Nasdaq Composite and S&P 500 erased losses ending the session in the plus column. Still, all three of the major averages fell for the week. In commodities, oil briefly hit the $84 per barrel level before ending the week at $83.32 per barrel, a 6.2% rise for the week.
