• Dow, S&P slip after Fed plots rate hike, Nasdaq inches up

  U.S. stocks got hit with more volatility after the Federal Reserve signaled a March rate hike and plans to shrink its balance sheet in the coming months. While the Dow and S&P 500 fell, the Nasdaq Composite ended marginally higher. In commodities, oil rose over 2% to $87.35 per barrel.
