• Nasdaq tanks 1.7%, Dow drops over 260 points as week begins

  U.S. stocks began the week on a down note with all three of the major averages falling as the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite paced the declines. Investors are eyeing important inflation data on consumer and producer prices due later in the week. Lululemon shares cratered after disclosing tepid holiday sales due to the pandemic. In commodities, oil hovered at the $78 per barrel level.
