• Tech-heavy Nasdaq ends higher after choppy session

  U.S. stocks had a wild ride Monday with the Nasdaq Composite coming back from a 2%+ deficit to close with modest gains. The Dow, which trimmed a 500+ drop, fell over 163 points, while the S&P 500 ended the session fractionally lower. Tech bellwethers Apple and Microsoft fueled the turnaround ending the session higher. In commodities, oil slipped closing at $77 per barrel level.
