• Dow sheds 519 points, Nasdaq 3.7% as Facebook falls 26.4%

  U.S. stocks got slammed as investors dumped large-cap tech led by Facebook which lost 26.4% the worst percentage drop on record, erasing about $200 billion in market value the worst single day ever for a U.S. company. In commodities, oil hit $90 per barrel, the highest since October 2014.
