| As school shootings continue to be a perennial and uniquely American epidemic, solutions to school safety seem to split into two sides – more restrictions or more guns. While victims' families and survivors in the largely conservative and pro-gun state of Texas fight for gun control, others in the state want to fortify schools by arming their childrens' teachers. In a new eye-opening CBS Reports documentary, CBS News' Lilia Luciano heads to Texas to meet with victims' families in Uvalde who are fighting for gun reform, witness the firearm trainings teachers are undertaking to protect their schools, and reveal an alarming lack of regulation that many say put students at even greater risk.
