  • Dow Jones, S&P 500 slip off record highs

    U.S. stocks pulled back from record highs with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 266 points, while the S&P lost 0.51%. The Nasdaq Composite was little changed shielded by Microsoft, Google and Tesla all hitting fresh records. In commodities, oil slipped to the $82 per barrel level ahead of a Congressional hearing in which CEOs from ExxonMobil, BP, Chevron and Shell will be on Capitol Hill to address climate change and likely sky-high fuel prices.
