• Dow, S&P hit all-time highs, home prices surge by most on record

  All three of the major U.S. stock averages climbed in early trading as the Nasdaq Composite led the gains ahead of earnings from Microsoft, Twitter & Google. Tesla shares continued to climb after surpassing $1 trillion in market value Monday. In economic data, home prices rose by the most on record, as reported by the Case-Shiller Index for August.
