• Dow jumps 300 points in rebound as Nike, Micron soar

  U.S. stocks rebounded following three straight days of selling as investors turned their attention to positive earnings even as omicron cases continue to rise. Both Nike and Micron saw early gains of over 8% following better than expected quarterly results. In commodities, oil jumped 2.5% to the $70 per barrel level.
